Help us provide technology skills to at-risk youth
Renato has been working with the youth in Goiana to teach English and technology skills. We are building a maker space and lab for data analysis starting with our electronic nose platform. This technology provides a good entry into building technical skills and job opportunities in this poor community.
During a recent visit to observe the sugar cane harvest, the men working the fields asked me for help to provide skills and opportunities so that their children can have a better life. We are raising funds to support a technology lab and maker space in Goiana. The lab will support some projects with social impact. Vote to help us prioritize our projects.

Travel Create Inspire
Travel content creators are at a unique position to tell the stories of people and communities to the world.
Community for Travel Content Creators making an impact through knowledge sharing. Based on my map-based web application technology to share community needs/projects we find along our travels.
Caregiver’s Nose
Many medical conditions result in anosmia, loss of the sense of smell. We use our sense of smell to detect common issues around the house, such as food that has gone bad.
Using our collaborative electronic nose data collection platform, we well develop a crowd-source smell database to support an electronic nose for household smells. Helping those who have lost their sense of smell remain independent.
Fitness Education and Tracking System
Fitness education can help break the cycle of poverty by improving physical health, boosting self-esteem, and fostering a sense of community.
I have been working with a fitness coach in London to build a fitness tracking and education web application. This program can be used by schools and community organizations to track and improve fitness and sports programs. We plan to translate the content to make it available for community groups working with high-risk youth in Brazil.
